You’re not of the children of man who rebuild the tower, thinking they can reach the heavens. The heavens you have already been promised. You’re not of the children of man who foolishly build with brick instead of stone. You’re a holy stone, a temple built upon the Rock. You’re not of the children of Adam, in pride desiring to make a name for your self. You’re the child of God, His name you have been given. You’re not of those who fear that their efforts will fail and they be scattered in defeat. We are called to cease from our own labors for all has been given.

Remember. We are His children and forever will be. No matter what glory is seen in our life, no matter how much understanding, all of it has been given. We have simply desired to receive. And even these desires were place in our heart when we gave our life to Him. How amazing the thoughts when we think of this exchange. How little given, how much received. We did not give at all, we just gratefully received.

We received our Saviour, salvation is what we got. He gave us life forevermore. That is just  the way it is now, we have been born again. Now His desires grow in us, nurtured by His Spirit. Now has begun something new, all of our dependance is now in Him. No longer do we build up our self providing for our needs. Jesus does the building, He knows just what we need.

We are the Father’s children entrusted to His care. His Spirit now dwells in us, we are being led into all truth. As at the beginning so it remains, all has been given we only have to receive. The way we do has not changed either. Believe, believe, believe. Faith too is a gift so what is left for us to do? Simply place our trust in Jesus and enter God’s rest. And remember you are His child.
