Simply Trust

Simply trust in Him in all of the ways of your life. Whatever occurs, whatever you face. Just know that His love covers you. That is His Sabbath Rest, the place He would have us be. Simply trust, nothing else works. Stop all your work and enter His rest. Trust that His words are true. No fear of the future, just trust for today. A wonderful place of rest.

Give doubt up, its weight is no fun. Praise should be in its place. Let your spirit soar to the heavens above, to that place of our Father’s rest. Simply trust is what we are learning to do and it has been quite a challenge.  It is all in this becoming a little child thing that has been so rough on us. Every time we think we get it somehow we slip right back to our old ways of forgetting who to trust.

How strange it is to learn new ways. We are so used to the burdens. To think, we have to be convinced to throw away doubt and fear. How foolish is that to which we cling, because we do not trust. Sickness and disease and blindness too are but a few.

Simply trust the way you should, you’re a child of the heavens. For that is where you are even though on earth. Your rest is found in Christ who sits upon His Father’s throne. And in Christ you are when He dwells in you. Know that always God is faithful to His word.

How strange it would be not to think we have further to go. Simply put, we have been abused on this place called earth. Our trust now needs to grow. So let us practice by the moment until we get it right. As a child we did enter in and as a child we must continue ….. to trust in our Father’s love for us.

About Paul Burgess

Learning to be a child that follows and shares so that we understand more of His love that goes beyond our understanding. That our life be transformed in such a way that Judah and Israel become jealous. That they are provoked to envy that the nations have received of His grace. That they might shout "Blessed is He that comes in the name of the Lord." That rightiousness be restored.
